The 100 Hour Check-Up Process

Financial Analysis: 8 – 16 hours

The first step in the Check-Up is a complete financial analysis of the business. We will review your financial statements for the past 3 years and 2 years of primary management reports. 8-16 hours will be spent reviewing and analyzing this information to become familiar with your business, its historical performance and to highlight areas to focus on during the site visit.

Site Visit: 25 – 50 hours
During the site visit all the primary business functions will be assessed through observation, analysis, and key personnel interviews (management and staff). Prior to the start of the Check-Up we will work with you to determine the site visit schedule and the list of employees to be interviewed. Interviews generally range from a 1/2 hour to 1 1/2 hours. There are times when a second interview is needed with certain staff members as there was not enough time to complete the interview, or an issue came to light and there is a need to discuss it with the staff member.

Analysis & Report Compilation: 16 – 32 hours
Once the site visit is completed the information gathered on-site is compiled, with any further research and analysis being conducted off-site. The report is then completed and submitted. This activity takes place over the course of 1-3 weeks.

Management Review: 1 – 3 hours
The report will be reviewed with you to answer any questions, ensure clarity of the findings and determine next steps.
