Office Administrator – IT [CLOSED]

Our Toronto based client, an established firm in the IT networking sector, is in need of an Office Administrator. This is not your typical admin role. This position serves as Operations Control for the entire business. From processing new hardware inventory to arranging staff timetables and assignments, if you like being the hub around which the entire business revolves this is the role for you!

• Ticket Management – Monitor the ticketing system. Track all inbound tickets and assign to staff.
• Gate Keeper – greet clients, answer phones, manage/maintain appointments
• Receivables Management – Aged receivables tracking, client phone calls
• Inventory Control – Order/receive/register all hardware inventory, track and maintain stock levels
• Executive support – Provide executive admin support to partners
• Bookkeeping – bank deposits/recs, invoicing & payables, maintain Quickbooks, run month end reporting
• General Admin – Open and sort mail, prepare shipments for couriers, maintain office supply stock

• 3+ years of experience in similar role, preferably in an IT environment
• Post-secondary courses/certificate in office administration is an asset
• Strong organizational skills, ability to establish & manage priorities with a drive to complete assigned tasks
• Professionalism, ability to work independently, multi-task and handle conflicting priorities
• Ability to solve problems and THINK!
• Positive attitude toward teamwork and strong relational skills
• Experience in producing quality work, while being able to meet deadlines
• Accurate typing, attention to detail a must. Proficiency in Excel and Word
• Must possess strong written, listening and verbal communication skills

• Salary: 35 – 40k commensurate with experience
• Vacation: 2 weeks
