AP/AR Administration Clerk – Industrial Supply [CLOSED]

Our Scarborough based client, an industrial supply distributor, is looking to hire an AP/AR Administration Clerk.  This role will be responsible for the administration of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, as well as provide front office reception support.  If you are looking for a family oriented environment with an emphasis on core values and work/life balance, this is the place for you!

About the company:

Our client was founded in 1957 and provides industrial supply to manufacturers and assembly companies primarily in Southern Ontario.

Responsibilities:

  • Post Accounts Payable invoices
  • Reconcile Accounts Payable issues with vendors
  • Accounts Receivable follow-up and collections
  • Generate and distribute consolidated statements to customers
  • Prepare & process export and shipping documentation
  • Process Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs)
  • Process credit card transactions and credit memos.
  • Greet/direct incoming calls and walk-in traffic.

Requirements:

  • Data entry experience, familiar with mechanics of AP, AR and bookkeeping
  • Post-secondary education
  • A positive attitude toward teamwork and strong interpersonal skills
  • Good phone manner
  • Professionalism and ability to work independently
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to establish & manage priorities with a drive to complete assigned tasks
    • Accurate typing, attention to detail a must.
    • Proficiency in Outlook, Excel and Word
    • Nice to have:  Familiarity with SX Enterprise and Sage Business Vision

Compensation

  • Salary: 39k – 43k plus profit sharing bonus
  • Vacation: 2 weeks
  • Group health and dental coverage, 4 sick days
